LoL i think it would look good but the outlet is way too big imo

No worrys, I will post pics..

It is the exact same length as  the stock can and only *slightly* bigger in diameter..

I believe the stock can is 4 7/8 inches..
This one is 5.5.. So 5/8 inch diameter larger, I doubt you'll be able to tell at 70Mph...  :)

I'm hopeing for a smooth connection at the muffler shop and for a really cool sound...

It has that removable baffle.. I'll let you guys know how that makes things different..

It'll probably keep all the animals off of the (twisty!) road as you ride around Beaver Lake.

But you might want to bring the baffle along and put it back in for tooling through Eureka Springs.  The tourists might get mad at you.

The tourists aren't the problem..
It seems like the police in that area have made it their mission to ticket every biker that comes through without stock pipes..

I dont know what kind of problems they have had there in the past, but what they are doing is working.. I know a lot of guys that wont go back to Eureka..

I got something similar on my car.   I developed a rattle inside my car.....change in the ash tray :)  I now have a second muffler mounted under the car and it helped.   With my silencer installed all my friends think it sounds like a big sportbike when it gets above 6,000rpm.

It will be loud, very loud....

Trim the tip a little for looks and keep the silencer in place.

Just checked the tracking info... The pipe should be here this Wednesday!!!

I have an 8 hour round trip ride coming up on Saturday so I should have all the work done and pics posted by then..

I'm just going to take it down to a muffler shop and have them install it.. No need to muck it up by monkeying with it myself..

I have the new 150 jets for the carbs and new needles and shims for the carb jets.. (one of mine was badly bent..)

This should be fun!
God willing it will be sexy too..

There is no way to describe how bad this thing is at starting from a stop..
It has NADA until it gets to about 30 Mph.. Then all of a sudden it has the strength of 3 GS's..

Got a flange adaptor fot it tonight..
Froze it and hammered it into the can..

Tomorrow I will take it to the Muff shop and have the flange adaptor welded to the headpipe..

We also rejetted, shimmed and bench set the A/F mix screws..

Current set up is...

150 main jets
.40 pilots
1 shim on each needle (because we cant find the other two  :x )
Bench set the A/F screws at 2.5 turns..

K&N lunchbox with WRX exhaust..

We will run it up the flag pole and see who salutes tomorrow after we get it home from the muff shop..

I think if you got a flange from srinath then all you would have to have the muffle shop do is make you a plate adapter so the flange will bolt on.  Might want to look into that, it might be cheaper.

I bought an adapter and clamp from a local shop for $3.03..
I froze the adapr and hammered it into the can..

Now its just a quick trip to the muff shop and ba-da-bing!

No ... I have a plate to bolt in to your wileyco or similar ... he is a slipper type ... Best option is what he's doing now ... getting a muffler place to make a mid pipe ... easy ...
Cool.
Srinath.

i thought it looked alittle akward too, maybe just use a screw threw it or somthing like that instead of the weird clamp.

The way  have it oriented, the majority of the clamp is against the bike, out of sight..

MaybeI can fnd a sexy chrome clamp or cover for it..

I dont even know if it really needs a clamp.. I had to feeze the adapter and hammer it into place..

Just have a good weld job done on it before you tighten it down too much and put a ugly crimp mark on it.
