Quote from: MotrfingerEver wondered what a full session is like on the track. Here it is. I have it available for DL in 2 forms. There is a full 17mins of riding on this and its all PIP. I got out on this session at least 1 lap after it started so I get totally railed on the start. I end up catching some of those that passed me at the start so I'm happy about that :) I'm not fast at BW, many would argue I'm not fast anywhere :) I will not contest that argument. I remember before as I got into sportbike riding what it must be like on the track. Well here's a good idea of what its like. Earlier in the day I got railed by Littlebit ;) she was looking good out there!! I finally got the groove enough to get the pass on her I was happy to hear she said to me I one of the most courteous passers of the day :) so either I was going real slow or passed at a good spot :)
Please right click and save as :) thanks!! Sound Track NWS

Very nice Pablo. I watched the whole thing. Hopefully I can get my hands on the F4i of my deams after selling my ranger and I can meet you at BW sometime.
Way cool! 8)

its okay to settle for any F4i ya know...BW is a fuuuun track. technical and plenty fast all in one. I'm doing Streets of Willow June 21 (first time). supposed to be real technical without any fast sections, relatively speaking.
sweet video...now i know what to save (and practice more) for :thumb:
p.s.
wouldn't the GS be relatively too slow though for track use? im just concerned about those I4s wizzin by
pablo, Do they force you to keep your speeds down at a track day event? i know they arnt keen on INSIDE passing. granted, i dont have any real room to talk as i have yet to do any track riding, but going off the video it seem everyone was out cruising so to speak, few knee touches aside. hope im not comming off as a smart ass but seems most the riders were competent enough to pick the pace up quite a few more notches, am i wrong?
my_celica_is_jealous-
Everyone at their own pace. you'd be fine in your group on a gs500. there were 250 2-strokes out there and loads of 600s that were ridden by less than quick riders...
Blueknyt-
the videographer stated that he was taking it easy and that he's slow. I'm curious how fast he is compared to me...or slow. He might not be fast enough to get me on film!
There are no limits to speed at the track. The C group (first time on track or otherwise slower riders) are given 2 parade laps where they have to follow the marshalls around for the first 2 laps, then let loose. B group gets one parade lap. this is only on first session of day.
Here's another video just for perspective. it was taken by a guy who was moderately fast, but was hanging back to tape his buddies. At 1:42 you see a marshall ride by on the outside...I was hanging with him all day. that's the pace I keep. See his knee? this is the turn called Riverside (first pic I posted).

Video starts with bikes turning onto front straight.
They are slow...
Wow that marshal was flyin...
oh and BTW, any F4i in good condition is my dream F4i :)

THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!
