hey everone, so i go to the DMV here in Richmond VA to take the road test finally, i mean ive only had my learners for ever lol. anyways i needed to get my registration card reprinted cause i lost mine somehow in my house. so they said "it doesnt show that you own a bike" im like "WHAT!!! i bought it last year in june." so they say "let us check our records, yes it shows you bought the bike and registered it then sold it in kentucky on march 11th 2005" so im like" ive never even been to kentucky and I have the bike sitting outside with that vin number." they look into it a little more and get the manager , she says "you need to contact the police on this matter!" I said which ? the kentucky or VA?" she goes "I dont know" I said "call the DMV in kentucky and tell them someone screwed up and that they need to revoke whoever has that title and put it back in my name here!" so she goes to call them , comes back and says they released the title and they think they screwed up one of the letters." so i go "um ok, well thanks though for helping me" then they gave me my registration and then proceeded to give me the road test, I passed without any points and got my real license finally.
but anyone in Kentucky that bought there bike on March 11th might want to check with the DMV and make sure they still have your bike listed.
