It's on the right end of the crankshaft.

Well, I check the switch in the handle bar assembly everything looks fine.  I checked behind the headlight, everything is good in there except for two unconnected female plugs but I think they're irrelavant.  Don't know where else to go from there...

I'm dumb as a skunk when it comes to wiring problems...

turn signals not working.   The signal generator is for the ignition correct?  has nothing to do with turn signals.   i think what he needs to check/replace is the relay for the turn signals right? that is if everything else (wiring) appears to be ok.

AHA! He means the Turn Signal Relay (TSR)!!  The TSR is mounted on the same bracket as the Reg/Rect and the Side Stand Relay.

Location
Right side, under the frame cover, between the big heat sink thingy (Regulator/Rectifier) and the thing that has the rectangular black condom looking cover with wires hanging out  :? (Side Stand Relay). The TSR has a connector with two wires coming out of it, orange and blue.

Ok, Ok. Here are some photos of what I am talking about.

I am in charge of the Unofficial GSTwin.com TSR morgue. The theory of operation of the TSR may be used in my Master's Thesis. It will either be that or something about Black Holes and their time dilation properties.

Cool,

I'll take a look at the TSR right after I try the signal generator..  Thought I had the right one, but I guess only a Wagner 552 will only do the trick I guess...

If anyone had a TSR they're not using or have extra of, please let me know.  Thanks again! :thumb:
