hehe... that's cold
on a side note... never EVER put someone elses name on the title to your stuff, unless its joined with the word 'AND'
then, both sigs are required
Heck, she shoulda drop-kicked his heinie after the "previous occasion." :P
the buyer is the LUCKIEST guy in the world...well...almost
divorce simple as that. nothing more nothing less. selling his car to get back at him is just wrong.
im not for hitting a woman, but that smacks as needing retribution of a painful kind. she acted like a child she ought to get punished like one.
I might just know someone on "Kerrang".........I wonder.........Perhaps ther's more......
lesson: don't marry a jackass.
Yeah, it was wrong of her, but much less so than the comments he made about her and their kids.
(That reminds me of the part in High Fidelity where the wife tries to sell Rob her husband's (amazing) record collection for 10p or something because he ran off with a younger woman and asked her to sell it (expecting a ton of money) and send it to him)
Why not keep it ... or like sell it to her brother ... and get rid of the loser and then buy it back from him ... whatever ... like I said before women are stupid ... What ... who said that ... what ... nothign.
Cool.
Srinath.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned :dunno:
Damn I would have liked to pick that up for that price! Shhhhhhhhhhytttt...
Don't you just hope to come across that stuff when looking for a bike?
i guess it would be ok to snatch every stich of clothing save a pair of shorts and a Tshirt, every bit of jewelry, silverware,Fuzzy toilet seat cover, picture and pet she holds dear and sell the whole lot for 1$ US and lock the door once you push her ass out. yeah, that would be about as fair and deserving.

Only if all of that were in
his name, including the house. The car and presumably the house are in
her name, so - it's her right to do with it as she pleases.
He's a jackass and had it coming. Sure, she should have known better than to marry a jackass and have kids with him - but he's the one who treated her like caca in public, he did it when he wasn't at home, he was stupid and had the car in her name - so there you go. All's fair in love, war, and trailer-park-level romance.

Maybe she doesn't like cars. :dunno: Sure, I'd take it and run, but I wouldn't marry a duck like that in the first place. ;) Different tastes all around!
Sucks for him, but I dont see anything wrong with it.
a jerk is fine, i dont argue that. devorice him, force up some alamony, or what ever. her name was on the log ASWELL, not soley, the house i would bet the chances are high is too, everything in the house is comunity property between both of them and often get devided up agreeably or forced by a judge. No, jerk or not, that wasnt warrented and as stated i wouldnt do it, but i wouldnt be surprised if she ate her front teeth. HE's an ASS? he trying to play SHOCK JOCK wanna be like howard stern? Fine, his wife left him too taking alamoney and kids with her.
nah, talking smack on the air as part of a job no matter how rude doesnt justify selling off his car doesnt matter if its a ford pinto with plastic over passenger window. he deserves to live and Die alone. And if she wants to sell off shaZam!, by all means, let it all go INCLUDING hers.
Quote"The car is his pride and joy but the idiot put my name on the log book so I just sold it. I didn't care about the money, I just wanted to get him back."
I bet she didnt. how much anyone want to bet that changes when she goes to court for the divorce?
Yeah it was dumb for him to have registered it in her name. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. But the way I see it she wanted out of the relationship anyway and his comments were just an excuse. He's a shock jock and has become as successful as he has for being shocking. His controvertial on-air personality has been what has kept food on the table and a roof over their heads. She had obviously forgotten all about that. He shouldn't have married an insanely jealous and reactionary woman like that in the first place. I bet he's relieved. I would be.

That's a lousy excuse for him being a public duck. Sure, it was stupid on her part to marry a twit like him, but that doesn't excuse his fundamental twitness. I'll sit back with the popcorn and call it karma (or carma, in this case) biting him in the behind.
It's possible to be controversial and shocking without completely disrespecting your wife, especially on air. Just because he pays the bills doesn't mean she has no right to dignity. Not that I agree with her approach. Obviously, she shouldn't have married the ass in the first place.
Yea who marries a shock jock anyway ... but it is possible to be a less obnoxious shock jock ... we call them DJ's ... ...
In any case ... taking the car would have been the second best idea ... the best would have been to sell it to me ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Of course, we haven't heard anything about the home life. It's likely that if they had a robust, mutually respectful relationship, his on air persona would not come between them. The comment that this gave her an out of the relationship is likely close to the mark.
I think they were both being insensitive and uncaring of each other, and that isn't something that happens overnight.

Amen, awomen.
So what came first? The chicken or the egg? Is he famous and successful for being an indecent ass or is he an indecent ass because he's famous and successful? Either way, the marketplace determines what sells, and he obviously makes money for the radio station or else he wouldn't be employed. Blame society and fallen standards if you dont like it. But here we are talking about it, and what does that mean? Publicity. This causes me to wonder whether it is just a publicity stunt. Wouldn't put it past THEM for a second.
And where did everyone's sense of humor go? Fer cryin' out loud...he's a paid entertainer. So you're offended by his sense of humor...that's the point. And Srinath, everyone knows it's possible to put on an all-ages show that appeals to your Disney-loving side, but that end of the entertainment spectrum is well-covered , as is the raunchy end, which brought to us the likes of George Carlin, Eddy Murphy, Richard Pryor, Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Robin Williams, and all of the other comedic greats that have risen to huge success for being as filthy as humanly possible.
Thank you. :nana:
But there's a difference between being funny while being crass and irreverent - a la George Carlin, one of the best comedians ever - because you mate those qualities with intelligence and insightfulness, and thinking you're funny because you're crass and irreverent and don't realize there's more to it than that.
I don't listen to or support the latter. Sure, this is publicity, but not any that's going to make money off of me. Ta hell with both of 'em.
