I agree! What were they thinking..? They must have saw that great big ole' speedometer in the Scion xB and thought "wow we need to do that". Haha.
Other than that, it isn't bad. I'd take her for a spin :thumb:
I'll third the headlight comment. I wonder how hard it would be to get a replacement headlight that looks cool.
But a WRX tail light would look so much better. None of that accord crap.

change up the headlight to a bmw biglittle combo. red anodized wheels. chrome mirrors. stainless exhaust.

and secondly, that guage atop the headlight looks awful
on a scale from Ford to 10 , I'd give it a definate "Meh.."

kinda looks like one of the aprilia scooters... if you smashed it a few times here and there... other than that i'd like to see what kind of numbers it puts up, along with kawi takes off that ridiculous speedo... don't hate it yet ya'll!!!!

I like it... I wouldn't pay for it.. But it has some streetfighter potential. Maybe a solo seat and some speed four headlights... Throw in some inverted forks. I bet they'll be pushing them out the door if they price it in the low $6k range and ditch that speedo..

I'm a believer in the inherent goodness of the parallel twin w/180 degree crank and what a shame Suzook has abdicated their right to that trademark design which they first popularized with the GS400. Of course, the EX500 has been eating the GS500's lunch for the last 20 years, and I expect the ER-6 will outperform SV650.

i like the lower half.
the headlight, guages, tank, 1/2 fairing, all look very MEH. the seat looks... meh... the lower half is sweet though :)
