so I am riding north on I-15 doing about a buck (indicated), which in 6th gear is at 7200 rpm's and I am thinking gee if I could only get up into the power band she whould really be cooking along.

But 7200 isn't 100 with stock gearing ... 100 is closer to 9000 isn't it ...

just about a tractor tire. but at 90 I am still getting 55 mpg.
