I say it's: uh-vay-ter

Weaze says its: ah-vuh-dar (the ah is like apple)

now dictionary.com's pronunciation is like mine. ah-va-tar. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=avatar . however the definition is quite odd.

I've always said it av-uh-tar. :dunno: That's how Lord British says it in Ultima 7, too. :P
