Title: Dent Removal
Post by: sprint_9 on July 06, 2005, 01:39:11 PM
Well some little jackass put a dent in my tank this last Sunday, looks to me like they went up and jacked it with there fist or something.  Anyhow, do any of you have any good methods on how to remove dents, I really dont want to have the tank redone again, just redid it 3 months ago and I dont want to shell out another $100.  Its suppost to get really hot so Im gonna let it sit in the sun and hope it pops out on its own but thats a long shot, any other ideas?

I've used dry ice on cars.  Rub it on the dent in circular motions.  Metal contracts as it freezes, which can pull the dent out.  Not always completely, but it usually brings it down.
