:(
I layed the bike down. Hit a patch of mud in the parking lot of work .It had rained all day at work. Nothing major; broken clutch lever, scratchs on mirror and handlebar end. Pushed the stock T/S in, no more stem. Looks cool...maybe I should do the other side now.
Worst of all hurt my pride.
One Big plus...I know I can I can dead lift 400LBS+. ( 5'2" female) 8)
Looks like it is time to start checking out replacement parts.
Now you get to customize without the guilt of tearing apart a perfectly good bike..
Its not a setback, its an opportunity.. :thumb:

i dropped my gs500e at a stop on a steep upwards hill today and i couldn't pick it up :x someone stopped to help but then i couldn't even get it off the stand when i was sitting on it, lol. i ended up rolling the bike down the hill where it wasn't so steep.
i'm also 5'2 female(105lbs), how'd you do it?

Yah, get those replacemewnt parts and the bike running good in time for Carlisle :thumb:
Or as Chris would say.. :guns: haha
I believe you can replace the stock turn signals with buell Blast signals. They're smaller, better looking, and only cost like $5 a piece. Do a search for more info.

Ladies, Carol "Skert" Youorski has your answer on her

Roy...
Everyone has their own favorite way to pick up a bike. What I did is put the bike down gently on a patch of grass and practice picking it up. That way, you don't have to figure out the mechanics of it when you're full of adrenaline and maybe a little banged up from a fall.
I've picked up heavier bikes than the GS500, but I pick different bikes up differently. With the GS, my side to the bike and hands on the handlebars, lift with the legs, works fine.
And it's not technically dead-lifting 400lbs, since we're turning the bike into a lever with the fulcrum where the wheels touch the ground.

I'm fat, and I think it's funny. Like anything on the internet, if you don't like it, don't look at it.
