Title: Rear Fender
Post by: Destro on July 19, 2005, 08:29:56 PM
Can anyone tell/show me where the rear fender attaches to the bike?  I have a '92 and the only place it is bolted to is the brake light/subframe!!  It looks like it should attach to the frame, behind the regulator on the right side and the battery box, but it is too far forward currently to reach those points.  Just wanting to verify if this is right or not.  Thanks for the help! :thumb:

Yes, two at the brake light, one each side of sub frame , and one under the battery box area.  These locations are for an '05 model.

Looked at that image Pablo, and pushed the fender up, but none of the holes line up easily, so didn't know if there were other places it could possibly connect.  I guess I could attach the front three and then connect the brake bracket last.  Any ideas about the length of the bolts used? Thanks for all the help.

check the parts list on that page and look up the bolts. it'll say the diameter and length.
