Title: Flush mount turn signals?
Post by: blue05twin on July 20, 2005, 07:06:44 AM
Hello everyone this must seem like a really silly question but here goes.  Are most flush mount turn signal's universal?  Or are there one made for the GS500F's?
Thanks in advance

The brand i have is K&S...but lockhart phillips would be the same measurement wise etc, they're all pretty similar.
Thats right, you won't have to cut or drill into your fairing, thats why i made them. What you'll have to do is take the big plastic keyed washer off your stock signals and flip them to the inside. Just drill a couple holes through that and through the new signals. Get some long small bolts and bolt them on. You may need to extend the wiring off them if they're not long enough.
I can make you a set for $10 canadian and shipping.

I would have to say yes but depending on how big it is.

I have these on my bike:
LOCKHART FLUSH MOUNT IV

I like the little LP flushmounts... I put those on mine last year and they look good but don't offer much of a signal to oncoming traffic. I was thinking about adding some LED lights up under the fairing but haven't got around to it yet.
