I did one in my dads garage in my old Mustang and the marks are still there,  I did this back in 1997.

It smelled like burnt rubber for about 3 weeks.

Some kids were doing burnouts in our apartment complex parking lot several months ago during three or four nights in a row at approximately the same time. One was some old F-150 truck and the other was some old Camaro without one headlight. Both were arrested. I was surprised that it took several days to arrest them. The apartment complex was very-very quiet before that incident. There are still marks in the asphalt.

I have never seen their cars after the incident. I guess, they learnt their lesson after doing several minute burnouts in the residential area with children running around.

Back when I was an idiot, I did a burnout on my GS...Had to have a friend lift on the grab bar on the back cuz I had a sticky Michelin Pilot Sport on there, but she smoked pretty good.

Same day, I locked up the back tire and freaked out almost everybody in my school (street runs right by where people hung out on lunch break), I slid it for about 200-250 feet.  Teachers came up to me later asking what the hell I was thinking.  Good to be thought of as that "bad-ass motorcyclist" for a while.

My Chevy truck has a 454 and 3.73 rear-end, smokes 'em for days if I want it to.  Alas, it's for sale...
