What would make fuel come out of the hose???? I noticed tonight that there was a little fuel in the line.
Ummm, there are a bunch of hoses on the bike. Could you be more specific?

IF you mean the carb overflow hose - a stuck float and the petcock in PRIme.
IF you mean a very small amount from the airbox drain - blow-by condensation will smell like gas
IF you mean the drain from around the filler cap (you can see the top opening if you open the gas cap) - you spilled gas when you filled up - OR the seal is not sealing when the tank is closed.
IF you mean any other hose - you have a leak. Replace that hose.
the drain overflow hose. I removed the petcock and I just have the tank going to the carbs because it cuts out on the highway. I just rebuilt the carbs, so i guess there could be a problem.

Stuck float or hooked up to the wrong spigot on the carbs - check the diagram on bikeBandit for the right place for the hoses and check your float level - sometimes a stuck float is just a temporary thing like a speck of dirt on the float valve seat and it fixes itself. ometimes just gently tapping the side of the carb fixes it. Sometimes you need to replace the needle and the seat.
