I've always wondered about your avatar in that regard...
Yea her avatar makes me cringe ... anytime I hear innuendo from her ... I just think Black adder saying it and just gag ... :x
Cool.
Srinath.
+1. She definitely needs to change that avatar!
Oh, but it's more fun that way!

Be careful what you ask for...
Ok fill us in, what the heck are we looking at here?

A head!
Specifically, for a 325i Pro-3 race car. You can just see the cam gear at the bottom of the pic.
yep, saw the gear... 2 cams right? What I thought was weird were the rocker arms (i guess) Don't think I've seen them like that... they look cast... cool
Yep, it's DOHC. They're the type of arms that let you adjust the valves by loosing and tighting a bolt, rather than having to swap shims.
Dale rolled his car at the last race, and some rocks got into the timing belt. Jumped a couple of teeth, and pistons met valves. So the head got some work.
Will that increase compression? Does he need to use a thicker head gasket now? He may end up blowing that sucker out.
The pistons were undamaged. The valves (the whole head, actually) are aluminum, so they tend to come out worse in any encounter (steel pistons, iron block). The head's been milled, but it's been done within Pro-3 rules, which are well within BMW's allowed tolerances.
Glad you were able give a hand

You mean like this one? :

I would much rather have a 1982 firebird like knight rider.
I got to have the red light too. Too bad it is just $1100 for the front bumper cover.
I agree Blazinjr, i would much rather have had that body. If i could get that indestructible paint I would be set :)

Lennon had McCartney envy!
I have Ringo envy :P
c'mon. Lennon could kick McCartney's ass, even dead. he's still making a greater contribution to the musical world.
Seriously I saw some article about it. I think it was on Fark.com a couple of days ago.
but it was kind of a joke. Although I'm not a huge Lennon fan. I love old Beetles newer Beetles are ok. I'm not huge on druggy music.
I love druggy music!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:
I guess I'm not into druggy music cause I'm not into drugs? :dunno:
I say "HUGS NOT DRUGS!!!, especially with hot chicks!"
I'm not either anymore (pothead in college) but I still dig the music
