Have you searched other threads?

(see, when you say something like "I'm not an idiot..." and so on, it really doesn't endear yourself to other readers... Just sayin')

thanks for the tip on how to make friends....

actually i just said it because on every forum i have ever seen... someone wants an answer to a specific question, or is new at using forums... and people are always there to give them crap about "use the search" "hey trying a search" "search dummy"

i was just indicating that i have already used the search...

thanks for the tip though  :nana:

I'm going to have to agree with this statement. I like boxers better. I normally like the loose kind except on flights or long car rides then I like the tight fitting boxers. That way they don't run up my crack.

In that case...I have nothing to add...pardon me...'scuse me...just passing through....

pandy

P.S. But I sure do need a new tire on my rear...it's really square...wait...that didn't come out right....

And as for the undies...  I prefer none.

But, on the rare occasion that I prefer some, I like the "T-Shirt" material boxers.  Soft and stretchy.   :thumb:

:dunno: Never tried...  Don't have...

Jeans required a "break-in"...  But, I eventually broke in.

I'd prolly wear something under leathers...  It's easier to wash sweaty underwear than it is to wash sweaty leathers.

I was kinda stuck with the Sport Demons...  No one had anything...  But, the price was better than the other tires I was looking at.

When you say everyone, do you mean all the local stealers?

I would go (and will be doing) stock size, 130/70-17.  Quicker handling, not gonna rub on anything(though a 140/70-17 probably won't either)

From what I've read here, the 140 doesn't rub, but doesn't flick as quick...  You gotta keep the flick quick! :thumb:

Post by: pandy on July 28, 2005, 04:01:32 PM
Well..I don't really need a quick flick, so I'm going to look at the well-thought-of Bridgestone BT45.

I'm afraid of anything with the name "Demon."...I'd have to start wearing my devil horns and tail instead of my doggie ears...then who KNOWs what lows I'd sink to!

As long as you get a 130, they should flick the same....   I've read a lot of posts that have said the 140 and 150 is slower to lean...

BTW...  Things that have "Demon" in the title are WAY better!

That's the spirit!

I will also suggest the 130/70, even though secretly I want to try the 140/70, but that's because I have a 40 tooth rear sprocket.

On to underwear!

I prefer cotton tighty-whiteys that aren't white, and by that I mean the 3-packs that come in assorted colors, and the reason why is because I like the restraining feeling I get when I start thinking about whips and chains. Did I mention how cool a black mesh thong is?
Title: Sport Demons
Post by: gs2sv on July 28, 2005, 04:16:23 PM
I would say that running a 140/70 sport demon on the rear will do you no good, might as well stick with the stock size. the 140 is so rounded to fit in that stupid puney 3.5" rim that your aren't gaining any contact patch. trust me I tried. as far as the demons go, I have been real happy with them, not bad at all for a x-ply. I still think we should all start sending angry letters to suzuki until they redo the rear end and start running a 4.5" wheel  :x

by the way, I just installed the bandit wheel I got from dgyver yesterday, lovin it so far, feels much more stable when cranked into a turn on a bumpy road. feels less flighty at highway speed also. funny how much difference an inch makes. even just running the 140/70 that I was already using it feels much better. I may not change to radials after all.

edit to add: I like pink panties with rhinestones and spangly things

ya i did and they were $50 bucks cheaper... i had decided on them from what i've read but was almost forced to change my mind when i couldn't find em in stock... i cant wait... my bike is a 1990 and it has the original bridgstone on the front and some barracuda tire on the back.. the bike has 14000 on it so the front is pretty shot and the back is bald.. im excited to feel what the bike should have felt like since i got it in april.

The seat is a suzuki gel seat, it came with the bike when I bought it a year and a half ago.  It absorbs some water through the seams when it gets rained on, so my butt has been wet for the past two days after riding.  But it seems to be comfy.

A small town south of Three Rivers, about 40 min south of Kzoo and 5-10min north of Indiana.  Funny, my gf asks me the same question about WI all the time, one of these days you people are gonna have to learn that Wisconsin is way cooler :nana:

That reminds me... Why doesn't Wisconsin fall into Lake Michigan?

Because Minnesota sucks and Michigan blows!
