Yea that's the latest moron on my hit list ... :guns: :guns: :guns: Autolite ...
Yea duh moron ... the damn thing is always rich ... yea that's just perfect ...
Idiot ... And BTW what is that black coating ... does it even conduct electricity ... Boy am I glad that these people are in some damn unknown lab in some obscure place or I'd go to his work and hand out a well deserved ass kicking ... though spark plugs are made in large numbers at the place in mooresville ... like 8 miles from my house ... so if I dont show up here every couple days ... yea I made a trip down there to kick some Idiot in the groin ... well deserved I might add ... and I got thrown in the slammer ...
Cool.

I've lived a sheltered life apparently..hehe. I've never seen a black spark plug! I'll keep my eyes open though..
You can't even tell if your plugs are fouling if they are black. :dunno:
Srinath, the problem is that there aren't enough people that think like you do -- the only way Autolite will stay in the sparkplug business is that there are repeat customers.
Once again, advertising your observation is valuable to us all. I bet the buyers of this product aren't thinking about the value of a white ceramic insulator as an indicator of combustion health. You probably noticed this only as you unwrapped the package just when you wanted to use it. :guns: (I think we all had moments like that.)
I'll be sure to also give Autolite a pass and reaching for the competition.
BTW, I have this picture in my mind of you leaving the Autolite factory entrance with this message:

Well no one reads a car plug ... or atleast a newer one ... they may think it looks cool and put it on ... and naver have a problem ... now I bought it cos it was the only one available, didn't even look at it till I got home and was about to install it ... it was closer to 9 when I did, I was 2 beers in and I didn't think ... but in my defence It was rather dark too ... :bs: ... That was day before yesterday, then yesterday I figured its not running right and yank the plug and go why are the damn threads black ... :? and then it hits me ... some moron decided black is the new Golden or silver that steel should be ... So I wish I could take credit ... but I didn't even realise ... so If I'd seen it in the store I'd still have bought it ... But it is stupid ... hope it doesn't catch on with the other makers ... cos there are bad enough plugs otherwise ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Well who's the one putting Autolite plugs in their Suzuki?
Go get some NGKs or Delcos!
What ... Its not a suzuki, its a Yamaha Virago ... comes with BP7ES NGK's whihc IMHO is the shittiest plug made ... with the NGK's the bike quits on the rear cyl after 5 mins, the Autolites made it run fine except at idle ... My Champions were great ... 415 champions ... till I broke one of them ... I am trying champions again today and next step is BP6ES NGK's ... OK fine but NGK's seem to be a colder heat range than the others ... so they dont clean that well ... making for a rich bike to foul out sooner ... NGK's are total crap IMHO ... of late their quality has taken a sheite ...
Cool.
