Maybe I'm totally missing the boat, but I'm guessing that's not a stock exhaust but you don't have it listed. How does it sound?

Also can you take more pics?

I think the first mod I'm doing is the custom undertail thing. Something I need to research no how to do now.  Plus all the other mods you listed that I have no clue about.

so much to learn.

Hmmm, I guess this doesn't sound like I intend to search then.

So what do you expect me to do. Every single thing that is posted I don't understand, I need to search. You are so full of shaZam! if you think that's necessary.

Granted some things are asked too much and should be searched and I've  done nothing but search for the past few weeks, but's it ridiculous to search every little word in someone's post that you don't understand.  Get a clue.

Hey maybe next time you should use the search yourself on how to post up a pic.

Oh please. I can't believe you are using that already. At least wait a little before using that.

I get bent out of shape beacause I actually  search as many things as possible. My question was not, "What do you think of this jacket or this  or what's a good begginer bike." I didn't recognize his exhaust and since I have never heard of his brand I figured he forgot to post it.

Now am I the only that see's that this is not something you start accusing somebody of using the search.

I simply saw something in his pics that he posted and I asked him about it. I can't believe I even have to explain myself here. I guess I'm different, when  I post a pic I don't mind talking about my mods and such. I mean why else would you post a pic then?

You're a pretty jerky acting fellow, eh? You got probs you need to resolve bub, but this ain't the place to do it. He looked at your pics, and was responding to them. If you don't want to answer questions about your bike, don't post pictures of it! What did you expect, people just to look at them and say nothing? He was just trying to learn and get your thoughts. Sometimes it is better to talk to someone with experience about something rather than go to the library and read about it right? If someone walked up to you on the street and asked you about it, would you act like a jerk like you did on here and be like ITS WELL DOCUMENTED....READ READ READ JEEZ!!... If you did that to me, I'd probably punch you in the nose for acting like a $#%^face. haha.

Ugh. Get over yourself bub, you ain't the search function police

Sorry, not bandwagon'n.  Just my take on what seemed a small amount of misinterpretation that turned into semi-e-blows and not directed at any party so-to-say.  Also anytime a thread contains something that reminds me of Looney Toons and PMS in one stroke strikes me as amusing, but my sense of humor has always been a tad off.  :dunno:

I also hate when I have to change the overall meaning of what I want to write based on the words I know how to spell.  :(

instead of saying "a bunch of short bus riders we have here."
i wrote, "a bunch of short bike riders we have here."
implying that your all retarded.

great looking bike man!
I really like what u did w/ the undertail too.
do you think you could explain some what you did with those 929 frame sliders? what kind of sliders are they?, how did u bolt them on?,  etc... I really need to get some protection for my case covers, and that looks like the answer for the F-models. nice job!

Title: Re: pic of my gsf
Post by: l3uddha on June 23, 2006, 08:46:21 PM
oops I didnt see the date...
I'm guessing he just drilled the frame & dremeled the faring for the sliders. Pretty simple, I was just hoping for some info before I go and do it myself....  :dunno_white:

hey can someone give me an idea of how he did his undertail and if the sliders work?
Title: Re: pic of my gsf
Post by: l3uddha on June 25, 2006, 08:19:55 AM
I dont see how the sliders wouldn't work. the frame is hollow steel, but as long as the bolt passes through both sides so the slider can't pivot at all... things should be fine. the faring will ovbiously have to be cut...
