Hey just wondering if anyone knows of a good GT style motorcycle game.  Ya know like able to mod a dream bike and kewl courses pretty much like tourismo. Gots too much time on my hands right now.  Not a big time gamer, can't afford the ps2 or xbox...game cube was on sale for $99. :thumb: Something to fine tune the skizzallz. :)

The MotoGP franchise comes up way short.

There is no comparable motorcycle game to any of the following:

R Racing Evolution
Grand Tourismo
Need for Speed Underground
Juiced

But there should be.  I'd play it until I was blind.

My friend who doesn't ride, loves to play MotoGP 2 for X-Box. I think that's what it's called. He used to play it more than anything else which is surprising to me because he doesn't play many games, and he gets bored easily. He even bought a special controller for it.

I'm going to borrow it and check it out.

Try Suzuki TT Superbikes for PS2.  I have it and the new MotoGP for PS2... TT Superbikes is a better game, IMO.

Polyphony digital is making a motorcycle game comparable to gran turismo.

I tried to play my cousin's game cube but I had to quit because the controler is so awkward and uncomfortable that it was hurting my hands.

When it comes to motorcycle racing games there is a very limited selection and that is the reason I don't have one. I would recomend Forza Motersport or Gran Turismo (notice the correct spelling) but you don't have an X-Box or a PS2 so your stuck with Mario and Lugi.

P.S: has anyone seen the nintindo revolutions controler? It's a fricken T.V remote!

It's my mission today.

Add that to a crappy freakin' weekend (ie., no call back from love interest, Mizzou loss, Chief's loss, 0 for 2 in Fantasy Football, unseasonable weather), and the best I can say is that I'm trying to be cool, but it is hard, honeybunny.  I'm tryin' real hard.

I came back.  I was just acting mad.  I'm not really.

I've had a while to get used to the Royals sucking really bad.

i really like GP500 (http://www.download.com/GP-500-demo/3000-7527_4-10230039.html).  it's for pc from about 2000, so you should be able to pick it up cheap (i paid $4 for a copy a year ago).

i thought the physics were excellent, though i really don't play games much.  the big drawback i found was that it was just too hard.  i think it might have been a little too realistic in that regard.

really helps to have a good analog joystick to play it.

there's a cheat code (http://www.actiontrip.com/cheats/gp500.phtml) where you ride a scooter in a business suit, and another one where you can get Mick Doohan's NSR '94 #4 (which makes the game much easier, though i still sucked).

cheers,
will

If you've got something that LOOKS like a TV remote, I'd damn well expect it to double as a TV remote.

I have been thinking about picking up a copy of Speed Kings for the gamecube.  It is a non-linear street racing game featuring actual bike models.  It seems a little squidly for me, but hey, sometimes you have to take what you can get when it comes to racing games for the Nintendo.  Not sure about the mod capabilities in that game though.  Gamecube comes up pretty short on sweet racing and sports games IMO.
