didnt even see that. is it too far back?
no seat latch keyhole?
i guess thats another however not the obvious ones
lol, dang i got a headache finding that one
big hole punched in the side of the seat; no grab rail.
No grab bar. Duh.
No foot pegs or gear shifter? Kind of blurry and hard to see
No plate
no kidk stand or center stand??
Dent in tank where silver stripe begins to narrow.
it's a 89-00 tank with thier tail that mimic's the 01+
Its got the old style seat and tank but the new 01+ tail!!!
OK WHAT DO I WIN?!
10 seconds too late, ya carnie.
NOT EVEN look at the posted time stamp, BOOYA!!
look at who's is first
booya these nuts.
OK thats the sites fault, not my own.
davipu u got it! the kickstand/centerstand dont have to be there like a race bike i guess. the pegs and shifter are there if im seeing correctly. the gas cap i think is in the right place tho. but yes the seat n tank are oldschool and the tail isnt! however its not the 01+ right? it butts up to the tank and has no key hole.. now does the kit come with a new tail or something?

you look at this one and it looks like a yamawho? tail till you see the back.
yes, that brazilian kit comes with a tail that looks a lot like the 01+ tail, but is designed to mate up with the old tank and mounting contacts.
It still looks like there's a dent above where the knee indentations are.
idk what u guys think but i like the brazil kit WAYY better than the F. i dont even think i would buy an F if i had the money
never mind that if you buy a F it's considered a sport bike and a E with a kit is still a standard.
Except the fact that there is no way of buying a brand new gsr500.
I never look at buying anything used, just from past experience I look at it as buying someone elses problem. I'm sure if suzuki made a bike exactly like that and had it like a gs500r then lots of people would of bought that instead of the F.

I got quotes from my insurance for a used GS500E and a 04 GS500F. Only a couple dollars difference because of the difference in the years.
The E with a kit would be a little extra to insure with full coverage. Because the kit is an extra that did not come standard with the bike. Therefore you would be insuring more than the bike is actually worth. The same goes with auto insurance and custom bodywork. Trust me I found out the hard way.

but the
r in the gs500r would stand for
racing in the insurance companies' mind thus inreasing the rates....
but heck yeah ill buy an GS500r any day than an F :thumb:
