After a chain has hit the ground at that speed it will have ground down some areas, leaving overhanging burrs that could drastically affect chain and sprocket wear. Best to be safe, and I'm glad you're okay.

My chain on my CBR snapped as well. My friend riding behind me got hit with pieces of it. It destroyed my undertail, broke my passenger peg, and cracked my engine case and gave me one hell of a bruised leg and ego. You came out lucky... Glad to hear your alright

New sprockets and chain are SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!  I just had mine replaced...  You won't regret spending the cash...  Well, at least I didn't regret it.
