Today is my 3 Year Wedding Anniversary and I've been with my wife for nearly 10 years (Yeah, I waited 6 years to propose, shut up... I was young :nana: ).
People always told me that things would get stale and boring... But, I'm excited to talk to her and see her every day.
How many YEARS have you been with yours? (Days, weeks, and months don't count... Come back when you have a few years under your belt  )
Happy Anniversary to you! And to me, too!! :)
It's exactly three years today for my sweetie and me, too!!! We live in sin, though. ;)
pandy
0 I'm still freeeeee!!
11 years as my wif, 4 years as my GF, 1 yr as my friend, 2.5 as mommy ... - 3 weeks as potential Murder suspect in the well deserved beating and subsequent death of Mr. Srinath Seshadri  ...
Cool.
Srinath.
Well , well, family values still exist! This past April we celebrated 25 years. It just gets better people. Really!
20 years this December :thumb:
7/26/05 was 2 years married, dated for 4 year prior...
Never been happier :thumb:
NICE! I'm the odd one with the people I know... 3 years is nearly unheard of, much less 10 years... Especially at 27.
:thumb:
We've been together for well over six years now. It seems like far less though. Although we're not married.
i will have been divorced for two years on sunday :thumb:
we hit 2 years sometime in April......we met in fall of 99......began dating in winter of 2000......and married in spring of 03......
Just celebrated #10 at the ripe old age of 34.
I never cease to be amazed that I'm still married, my wife clearly has some masochistic tendencies.
I still can't get her to ride a motorcycle though...
Mandy and I will be 5yrs married in Nov 25 and been togather 8yrs on Jan 1
Joe
If you still have motorcycle parts on the kitchen table when she gets home, it will be considered justifiable homicide. :guns:
New rule at our house since we replaced the carpet early this year: no more motorcycles in the livingroom, or driving them through the house to the backyard (I kid you not!).

Motorcycle parts ... Parts wont bother her one bit ... whole bikes are in the Liv Room now ... Justifiable homicide ... heck its a suicide attempt ... as is posting this on a public forum ... yikes ... OK y'all better not tell her ... (werase, ginovega, starwalt, dgyver, adamwade, danny, vena others in NC/SC ... yea I am at your mercy on that one ... Yikes That's a lotta people, and there's more - srileo, woolridge more ... yeow)
Cool.
Srinath.
Whad ya' say her e-mail addie was again?
pandy :P
3 years May...11th, I think  Yeah, the 11th. We dated for 5 years before we got married, and worked together for about 1 1/2 years before we realized we liked each other. The fact that we hung out together for hours after work never clued us in I guess.
.
Wonderfully happily married 593 days! That's one year, 7 months, 2 weeks and a few days.
We were friends for 3 1/2 years before we started courting. We are sooo old fashioned and conservative (by choice) that we didn't even kiss until our wedding day! How many of you have a photo of your first kiss ever?

Ha ha I aint fraid of you ... Just the locals ... and the extended locals (average and some others ... that have my phone number) ... so they might meet/talk to her.
BTW what was all the hoopla about your avatar ... what's the big deal ... it looks like any other girl on a bike ... nothing bootylicious ... :?
Cool.
Srinath.
You made a list of those in the know, and for that, I thank you!
As for my avatar...NOW do you believe me!? Yeesh. I *told* you HOW many times that I'm just an ol' goyle! :?
pandy :P
P.S. And while I'm filling her in on the moto activities while she was gone, I'll let her know that you're looking for bootilicious, too. :P

Holy Crap you are one llucky dude. If I even had so much as an unused oil filter on the kitchen table I'd be castrated....
Oh yeah... almost 3 years -- unmarried...
Well I didn't say you were a gargoyle ... just that what is the big deal ... you're a Mc Chick ... nothing remarkable in that pic ... (please note earlier complaint about lack of booty) ...
Now that Searching for booty ... remmember in Naked gun 33.13 ... leslie Nielsen would have gone snooping around some criminals and ... when priscilla Pressly catches him ... he says it was another woman ... yea my life is similar to that ... so say I was looking for booty and my wife will go OK atleast I have some hope he'd want some and so do what I say ...
BTW she'd also say ... what kind of name is "Pandy for a girl anyway" probably.
Cool.
Srinath.
At least my nickname is easily pronounced! So THERE!!
McPandy :P

Well she once said what sorta name for a man is Sandy when she heard me talk to my old co worker called Sandy ... first she refered him as "she" ... then I said sandy is a guy ... she thought I was pulling her leg ... then I played a message he had left ... and that deep gruff voice made her go ... "Huh ... what sorta name for a guy is Sandy" ... so logically she'd prolly do the same.
Cool.
Srinath.

wow, man thats a heck of a story. My wife and I shacked up for a year, and I'm a minister's son
Excellent! You're admitting that women are logical!!

Far from ... There is that masterpiece she once came up with ... "why were they out of colorless" ... when someone said they bought a white car ... I know what path it will take though ... so ... there are other optons too. What is that ... short for Pandemonium ... or you have a speech impediment ... you trying to say Panda ... Or Pandy, why were you born on sundy ... or the usual ... why were they all out of sandy, mandy, randy and amandy ... Just making it all up ... but you get the idea.
Cool.
Srinath.
Yeah...I get the idea...you're sniffing glue again! :P
pandora :P
McPanty.
There's another thread for word association...This one's about....uh...what is this one about again???
pandy :P
I married my 1st and only wife on August 16, 1969. We're still together, happy and in love these past 36 years. Besides the sex thing, we're each others "best friend", but always mindful that we each need to both share each others interests (her gardening, for example) and my sports car indulgence. A motorcycle has been a part of our "chemistry" since we started dating in 1968. I'm one lucky guy, and I thank God every day for my good fortune.

we'll be married 9 years in october, been together for almost 14. I was 20 and she was 19 when we met. She was dating my roomate. She indulges my motorcycle whimsy. she buys me gear all the time, and videogames. she's cool. she's also a good mom.

Woweee ... You and GSJack ... sweet. I was born in Jan 69 and I hope to be telling kids born in Aug 94 that I married my wife in jan 94 ... when they are 36 ... Let me push it one step further - was she your only GF ... were you the only BF ... All I can say to that ... I wish ... but its not too bad in my case. I can live with it.
Cool.

Why the wheel Kerry in your avatar ...
BTW Avatar is the wrong word for a pic - Avatar means incarnation ... Christianity believes Jesus will come back to the world. That will be his second comming. Hindu's believe that god has appeared 9 times on the earth and each of those is an avatar ... the 10 is concidentally the equivalent of Judgement day in Hinduism.
Cool.
Srinath.

I went through my image library a few months back and created about 25 100x100 pixel images for "avatar" use. I'm slowly working through them.
Stay tuned for the one of the kid dressed up as a Sri Chamundeshwari Temple monkey (outside Mysore) in a couple weeks.
I'm saving the picture of the rotor-less hub for later....

Kerrr, i was going to commet on your avatar, but I'm mentally running win 95...

Haha, same here, except it's been six years for me! Although my mom is a Unitarian minister. (AKA the hippy form of Christianity. Hey, if they make fun of it in The Simpson's it's gotta be good.)

I can't have kids
seriously...
My girl and I got engaged in June. This will be #1 for her and #2 for me.

I married my high school sweetheart on 18 Dec 1993. I was 21, she was 20. The first time I saw her, I told my best friend that I was going to marry her. He said that she was out of my league.

NICE! I went to HS with my wife, but we didn't start dating until after HS... When I cut my nasty long hair.
My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary on July 31st. We have been together for 8 years, it took him 6 years to finally ask me to marry him. I'm hapily married, so I guess the old adage of "Good things come to those who wait" can be true.

I took me about 6 years too... But, I wanted to wait until I was 25 to get married. :dunno: 24 was close enough I guess.
Smart boy! I married when I was 19....needless to say, I'm divorced.

Yeah... So is nearly every I know that got married before 25... I'm not into that divorce stuff.
sucker.
This is a first for both of us. I'm almost 34, he just turned 36.
So we can't say that we rushed into it or that we were too young.
Now we just have to wait until I graduate and start working then we can think about starting a family before we are too old for it. 8)
Purplenurse
Eh... You have 6 years before you'll be too old :P
I'm not into that divorce stuff either. It's especially difficult on the children. And now my teenaged son is talking about getting married at 19.... :? :o  :( :( :(
Quote from: RVertigoYeah... So is nearly every I know that got married before 25... I'm not into that divorce stuff.
you havn't slapped him yet?
I've only lectured so far. The slapping will commence when he continues to believe that he knows everything. Bah...perhaps I should just start slapping him now.

Yeah....he didn't listen when he dropped 5K into the CRX I gave him for a new, souped-up engine (and then learned that he'd bent the frame when he flipped it). :x
Oh...don't worry....that was only the THIRD car he'd flipped... and he wanted to ride a motorcycle, too. Good thing he can't afford to!
Ok...now WHAT was this thread about...oh yeah..three years and counting! :thumb:
