Sorry, I have a 2004 yellow Gs 500. There are alot of great rides heading out of sac into the sierra mountains but everywhere I go it is Harley, Harley, Harley and everybody just thinks they are the sh#%! I really just like to ride and not pretend that I'm the king of the road. I have done a couple of things to my bike like flush mount signals, fendorectomy (as you guys call it) and added some yellow grips I am considering re jetting and adding a pipe but that will come later. I also got rid of those huge rear turn signals with some Motoboss signals they are( toiny) I will try to send some pics as soon as I get this damn posting forum fingered out. I am noobie to this but it is a blast reading all the GS garb I really did not know that there were so many of us around. Sacramento does suck for me because everybody has to have the biggest and baddest of everything.

Welcome, snaggers! I like your nickname!

I'm a ways from Sactomato (don't kill me...that's what everyone called it while I was skewling at UCD...Go Aggies! ;) ).  Perhaps you'll be able to join one of the BAGS (Bay Area GS) rides....heck, maybe I'll be able to join one.  :dunno:

WELCOME!!

Im not in sac town, but its about 3 hours away from me. If you guys were to put together a nice ride, it might be worth the 3 hour ride up there.

Hey, Thanks for the replies everyone, things are looking up I would really like to look you guys up and go for a ride. I got some friends with bikes but they just don't get out and ride much. It would be great to ride with some other GS riders. It has been a little hot here, like in the 100's so the bay area would be great...... Late

Tahoe is awesome, It's only an hour from here lots of twisties. Also lots of great rides near Grass Valley, and all over the Sierra mountains.

Hey snaggers, I'm in the Sac area (Roseville). Been looking to get out to Latrobe Road out to Jackson, or maybe up to Tahoe now that it's cooled off. If you'd like to set up a ride let me know.

Hey all, I'm In the Napa valley! (About 90 min west of Sactown <depending on mood>) It is the opinion of my self and all of my riding buddies (and www.pashnit.com) that we have many of the nations best moto roads in this fine country. I lived in West Sac for a while and am applying for a job with the Sac P.D. (don't hate me please). I'm overhaulin my ride right now but if you wanna come over for a good ride let me know. If you ask nicely I will provide my PH# or email. I would like to extend a sincere invitation of lodging and all other accommodation for a small group if you would like to make it a weekend trip to the wine country.
