You are weird...lil bit of salt on a good slice of H2O-melon is THE bomb!
Maybe you added too much salt?
I like salt on my tomato (course I eat tomato's like apples)......but I never thought to put salt on watermelon.....and after your experience, I don't think I ever will......thanx for being a pig about it.....a guinea pig!!!
That's the only way my dad will eat watermelon.
My little cocker spaniel also loves watermelon. She will literally jump on you and steal it. She loves it a little too much though because she tries to eat the rind when she's done with the good stuff.
I tried soy sauce on ice cream once...
I don't recommend it to anyone.
salt on watermelon is the bomb, but it's best if the watermelon is a good specimen that's really sweet - and don't overdo the salt, just a little bit goes a long way.
I once tried mixing ketchup and vodka; I named the drink a Bloody Awful.

common sense rejects the idea before it can be put into action :?
Salt on watermelon is EXCELLENT. A wonderful combination of "sweet and salty". Not too much though! :)
Salt and black pepper on cantaloupe is second to none. Fine as a melon on a vine baby! Lots of black pungent pepper! Don't use any of that "resturant shaZam!" that is thick and tasteless. Use the fine stuff or freshly cracked. Love, Wilson (Y'all's Redneck Southern Advisor)
p.s. y'all DO KNOW that I just happen to LOVE homegrown tomatoes don't ya?

alcohol abuse :( I hope it was cheap vodka.
salt is only good on Wendys French Fries.......... because they SUCK.
On watermelon thats just wrong.
And whats even funnier is I am eating some right now.

. did something quite similar, but 1 was too drunk to name it, and 2. was too drunk to notice if it worked
just keep the glass cleaner out if it and you'll be fine.
hey it was me who suggested it! in the avatar test thread i believe. with davipu backing me up
backing what up?
Your idea sucked then, weaselnose. :P
And...salt & pepper on cantelope??? :? Now...salt and pepper on cottage cheese is another story! :thumb:
pandy
i don't think you can have a meaningful discussion of what might or might not taste good with anyone who would recommend the eating of cottage cheese.
it may be possible to render cottage cheese edible by adding a sufficient amount of fruit (at least a one to one ratio), but i don't feel inclined to try.

I've never gotten into the cottage cheese with fruit thang...and I like fruit! :P
pandy
some cottage cheese and crackers sounds really great right now....
Talking about it gave me cravings, too. I bought a big thing of it yesterday....uh...and ate it all up!
It was DELISH! Not to be mean or anything! ;););)
pandy

damnit now i want beer and pizza too. Work sucks.... If you are a happy drunk i think it should be permitted and encouraged to drink at work, as long as you have a damn desk jokey job like mine.
Sounds like you need to work at a Dot.Bomb or a software company...
