..installed my lunchbox after work, taking advantage of mechanic's tools and work area , fast and painless... not bothering to rejet until my flange arives....deeper intake sound now, sort of "burbley" like a cruiser i dunno :dunno:
cant say it sounds bad, but *shrug* could care less about sound...
only one problem.... you may be running lean now. More air and no more gas than usual (stock jetting) may set up a lean condition.

Crap and I was all excited cause I thought I'd get to talk about the He-Man lunch box I had in elementary school.
On a related subject there is a lunch box exhibit at some big museum in Dallas/Fort Worth. I shot by when I was out in Fort Worth visiting a friend.

Hotter motor yea, and it will run like sheite ... misfiring and generally giving you grief ... Rich motors will run fine when cold but crap out when hot ... usually steady throttle is OK if rich, and constantly changing throttle works for slightly lean ... but only for slightly lean/rich. Miss it by a lot and you're frocked ... :lol:

Also holes in pistons, siezed engine and other nasty problems - all much more likely on an air cooled engine than on water cooled.
OK oddly ... no ... You'd have to really really be waaaay lean and it will pretty much not run well before it will eat itself ... and on a 4 cyl maybe you can have that in 1 cyl and not notice it and ride on and destroy it, and water cooled's are more prone to this especially cos the water will limit the temp ... sorta ... it will start running hotter and you'd have to ignore it ... but their tolerances are tighter and hence it takes less to burn one ... Now of course there is that other hypothetical scenario ... its so rich it washes the oil films off the cylinders and they end up metal on metal and getting chewed up ... but again you'd have to be soooo rich ... it will quit running long before that happens. In short ... very unlikely you'd burn it up either way ... just a whole lotta grief while riding ... of course in the long term it will hurt ... Your motor wont last as long ...

After installing my lunchbox, I found that the bike sounded and felt pretty much the same, but I was far less hungry at work. I went with the Arctic Zone in bright blue. :lol:
