OEM parts I can get at dealer cost :cheers:  so reapairs will be around $1500

its an 03, not replacing the dented tank, just going to pull the dent and repaint... even dealer cost on a tank is high, tanks are very expensive...

clean title wrecked bikes are your friends if you have $1-2 gs sitting around, the resale value will be great too once your done...in reality, it will cost me next to nothing for this one when i sell my gs

How exactly do you get a clean-titled, wrecked frame? I have heard of guys just dropping the bikes and cracking the fairings, so the insurance calls it a total loss or some shiat like that. Just curious...

insurance usually never finds out about the bike if its clean i think.

the frame is fine...the reason the title is clean is cause the guy A) didnt have insurance or B)didnt make a claim when he trashed it... my guess is A

all damage on this one im getting is cosmetic

I didnt claim my wreck. Course my bike has a salvage before the wreck, so eh. I did call at 2 am after I got back from the ER and canceled my insurance, lol.
