Title: Bad vibe...
Post by: Code4 on August 08, 2005, 06:45:52 PM
I have an 04 GSF500 with about 7,000 KM. Around 5,000 - 5,100 RPM there is a slight vibration. I can feel it in the tank and in the foot pegs. I don't seem to have it below or above this RPM range.  Any ideas???

it's just the gs, with it being a twin, it's going to buzz and vibrate at a certian rpm the gs's due to manufacturing tolerances will do it from 5-5500 depending on the bike.   the other thing to check is to make sure that you still have both of the foam pads under the gas tank, they are just glued on and fall off every now and then.

Something's wrong with your bike.  It should be more than slight.

if the bad vibe dissapears at 5101rpm, then you are fine.

Indeed I got it too. A carb synch partially solves the "problem", but it will always be there. It feels like there is a big bug zooming in the tank :).
