Title: Stand-up Wheelies?
Post by: 97gs500e on August 11, 2005, 02:14:07 AM
I've been practicing my wheelies the last two days, and I can't get the wheel more than about 3 feet off the ground.   I don't have any performance mods - other than the springs.

Has anyone been able to do a standup wheelie, i.e. left foot on passenger footpeg with right working brake - standing up and keeping it 'up on one' for more than 3-4 seconds?

i can shift 1st through 3rd on a sit down, 1st to second and then standup, just remember once your bike is in the 11 o clock position it isnt as hard to keep it up, I would say rejets are a must cause I need that better throttle response to be able to juggle it.
