Now you can get back to full-time production of handlebars and flanges and engine guards!

Seriously ... sorry to hear it.  :x

Um ... what's your wife gonna say/do?  :o

Edit: Never mind full-time production.  It's time for full-time clean-the-house!

Title: Sitting
Post by: The Buddha on August 12, 2005, 07:23:11 PM
Well I moved here to work at B of a ... 3 years ago ... Aug 13th 2002 to be exact. I was supposed to be here aug 12 but lost a day in the TN mountains ... But anyway I got canned from that Oct 2004. I was working for a small engine shop. I got injured too much to be too useful for the original intended purpose, and I got enough work back for them and most of the parts all by net etc ... so I was sitting at the computer and yakking up them for a few weeks ... Time to find a real IT job, one where lifting 75 lbs isn't a requirement ...    ... In any case, I needed to get started on it ...
So anyone want to hire a Siebel programmer ... how about Unix app support, or actuate environment management ...
Resume's coming up ... BTW Yea not wanting to get out of Charlotte area really ... but lets see ... Make it worthwhile ...
Now Yea what's the word on the Yanashiki can and flanges ... the cans are oval and pretty ... all anodised and crap ... so ... if anyone wants to ... better get 25 of your best friends together and jump on it ...
BTW oval has 1 advantage - They are under 3 inches wide, I will fit it in so tight you can ride 3 mm from a brick wall and if you dont snag your pants, you wont scrape the pipe ...
Yea WTF is a Yanashiki ... Some unholy union of a yamaha and a Kawasaki ...
Cool.
Srinath.

File for unemployment.
Go on the dole.
Sell parts on the underground economy for the beer money.

Ah.. the new American dream.
:P

That's yanashiki - yea I know $$$

Flange as usual is $40 ... that will push the cost for the slip on up into the $220 mark all items shipped. Twice the regular wileyco $$ ... oval, cool colors, and aluminium body making it lighter but at the same time less rugged ... You guys need to make the decision ... if there is 25+ It gets into where I'd be able to cut them and start on them ... usually more people join in ... I started with 25 last run ... barely, and sold 37-38 by the time I was done ...
Cool.
Srinath.

:P

I did that for the last 8 months ... I wanted to quit and be husband and father ... and employed ...      ... well then OK ... I barely have like 4 weeks dole ... I used it all up last time ...
Cool.

Sorry to hear of the setback. Don't forget to check out our refurb facility there in Charlotte. Philips dot com. Who knows?

I have been north of Charlotte for the past two days and will be heading back to Anderson Saturday. Need me to take something to dgyver?
Title: No
Post by: The Buddha on August 12, 2005, 07:52:22 PM
Nothing to give dgyver, but come by and we'll get coffee ... my house is a mess, but GS crap is abundant ... so take whatever I dont need, read - lots of green and purple ... And you can take a firsthand look at this virago disaster ... if you so like, I am cracking it open first thing.
Cool.

Seriously though, that's a tough week... hang in there, things'll turn around.

Oh fine...give the purple to someone who lives on YOUR side of the country.  :x

I thought you were gonna start cleaning up the house for your wife's arrival??? OH yeah...that's right...you're a guy.... you'll start cleaning the night before she's due.

The purple stuff isn't worth shipping it ... it was jetswing's who palmed it off on me and deserves to be tossed in the trash just for being purple, but OK its also cracked and has tabs busted, green is rashed, Its an option if you dont have it, not worth certainly the $20 its gonna cost to send it ...
I know of your purple fetish ... I am not just doing this to bug ya ... its truly not worth shipping it. I need to warn Starwalt as well ... in case he's expecting pretty stuff that's not busted ... yea right ...
Cool.

See? My purple fetish is performing a public service: warning those that the purple is cracked and that the green even exists.  :P

And I notice you don't even address the housecleaning...too ugly to think about, eh? ;)

Post by: The Buddha on August 12, 2005, 08:22:33 PM
See I messed up the lower part, the upstairs is perfect ... Its all going in the trash, 2 days is plenty, however, it has to look lived in and not just cleaned, so I am doing it over this weekend, then the next 1 week I'll break in the clean, and pick the misseds etc ... just so it looks like it was always this way ...
Cool.
