ok just wondering who's from socal...particularly san diego. i'm in chula vista. anyone else from S. SD? just curious to see how many gs owners are in sd. seems like most people here have your typical 600cc+ 4-bangers so who luvs twins?
I'm from SD, Torrey Pines. It doesn't get much better than motorcycle + curvy beach roads
you actually admit to being from CV? I'm sorry.

haha. i actually hear there are really nice parts of chula vista, not that i have ever seen them or hang out in that area. could be the new home of the chargers too.
I live in carmel valley BTW

just kidding. it's pretty nice over there.
I'm gonna be in the college area as soon as I find a damn apartment... :x :x :x
College area by SDSU? It is probably the hardest time of the year to find an apartment right before school starts.
BTW, who calls it "Sandy Eggo?" Where are you originally from?

i thought at first someone crashed in the desert :dunno:
I miss my beach house at 19th and Coast in Del Mar. :(
so Tony have you checked out the hillcrest area?
Haha Dave, very funny. Honestly, I'd rather live in Hillcrest than out in the sticks of Miramesa, you inbred hick!
College area (in my eyes)= anywhere from SDSU to Linda Vista to as far west as I could afford.
Gonna be in town with the GS as of tonight probably until Saturday, staying with my sister in PB and looking for a place/job.
Anybody wanna get together and hit a bike night or something, (559) 905-5365.
Dave, is that R6 salvage title? If it's not, I might be interested in buying it off you...Wanna sell?
at least in hillcrest you can go bar hopping and get free drinks. buy my skateboard and we'll talk about the 6.
davipu, are you still in school? I noticed in your profile you said you're wasting your life in college again. Mira Mesa area? UCSD?
sort of. I didn't have the money to pay for classes this semester.
Ahh, gotcha. I was down there for four years at UCSD, and graduated in '03. I wish I had had the bike back then. I would kill to ride the beach roads every day.
Also in the Mira Mesa area of SD.
How much do you want for that board again? I'll trade you a 2x15 bass guitar cab for it, it's worth about 250 bones???
a hundred bones. i think I have found the limit of my musical ability with my harmonica.
Give you 50 and some lessons on tuba.
oops...

yeah and? i live next to the telemobil and can ride to the old 94. nice area...

uhh, who cares and yeah born and raised...
well i was just wondering what parts of ssd the board members were in. do any of you go to the elbn (eastlake bike night) or the mmbn (mira mesa bike night) on turdsdays (thursdays, if you couldn't figure it out)? lately the elbn has been overrun w/ duc's so i think it'll be interesting if there were a lot of suzuki....GS's! bwahahahaha...or something like that...i hear the mmbn has more of the "club gatherings" but just lemmie know...
mmbn is full of squids and club posers. it's not worth going to.
I found an apartment, it's in North Park about 10 blocks off the 805, and about the same distance from Balboa park's northeastern corner.
Got school every morning until about 12 or 1, Fri/Sat/Sun off, no job yet so I'm moving in today/tomorrow, and trying to get a job ASAP once I am moved in.
I guess Cycle Gear doesn't like non-squids to work there?
ghetto of sd....rb
rich white people for neighbors
Bump to rep SD and the rest of the county.
i go to school in riverside, but my family lives right next to ucsd in la jolla. any good roads in that area? can u actually ride around in tecolote canyon?
~facio
Highway 101 north of La Jolla is basically the only good riding that is right on the beach in that area that I have found and that's not even that twisty.
I haven't really found much of anything for good rides yet, besides just heading out to the desert and hitting up random canyons there, which is pretty sketchy.
I haven't looked at pashnit.com for a while either though, probably something there.
Just for reference, I'm still in North Park right off of University and saw a GS today, somebody here??
