Me, too! Whew! I'm all for free love (Woodstock happened in '69, I was a year old); Judas kissed Jesus, and I was sure he was a hit with the ladies, later I learned he had a girlfreind/wife, but I was always concerned that he would do such a thing, because I felt that it would hurt my image of him. I have still enjoyed his music these many years.

Yes, I can't remember if it was Hammersmith Odeon or Hackney Empire, knowing the way things were it may well have been niether. I (just about) remember seeing Pink Floyd when they were doing the pubs around London. All "the usual suspects" in the 60s, Manfred Mann in Ramsgate, Beatles in Brighton, and the Stones at a place called "The Strand Palais" in Deal where I lived for a while. It was a 400/500 person dance hall, It's a builders merchants now.........and I'm pushing 60. I still catch the odd pub bands, some going up, some down but my ravin' days are over.

Cal, that is awesome.  You Brits had more of a chance to see the real early stuff since that cat was over there so long.  I am truly envious of you. :thumb:  :thumb:  :thumb:
