Bikes take well to clutchless shifting - been doing it since the 60's ans only lost one transmission - on a 1968 x-6 hustler - but that was more related to the siezed motor than the clutchless shifting.

I just didn't want to get flamed! I have been power shifting cars forever, but it seemed so DAMN easy on the GS I was amazed!  I'm glad I ain't the only one!

You can also fan the clutch like you do with a 2 stroke motocross. Say that you are at a stop light next to some car that under estimates the power of a motorcycle, when the light turns green you open her up and about mid acceleration you pull the clutch in leaving the throttle wide open let out on the clutch and shift without letting off the throttle you can run thruogh the gears pretty quick this way.

Power shifting is rowing through the gears with a wide open throttle.  Bad. :nono:

Clutchless shifting in a car is hard on the synchros.  Also bad.  :nono:  Timing the shifts won't be as fun when the synchros are gone and you got no choice.
