TV is pure evil, at least on the internet you can research interesting things, TV is just non-stop brainwashing advertising.

Mr Springsteen famously sung, 47 Channels and nothin' on. Now I have several hundred on Satellite I often feel the same way but the internet ! wow there has to be something out there, doesn't there . . . . . . ? ? surely, maybe, perhaps, please.......

They're not extensive, but I found a couple of interesting Van Brunt quotes in the article

there was a comedian (cant rember who) that said "if they removed all the porn from the internet there would only be 1 site left and it would be called www.wheredtheporngo.com"

The freakin' internet turns some people to the dark side...makes 'em forget about their family and they get obsessed with it. It's a pretty neat tool for research (if you can sort through all the crap) and I think it's ok for checking something like Advance Auto or or someplace to see what price and availability they have on an item. Other than that, I really wish the internet had never been invented. I know it's causing us problems on a scale I would have never dreamed. Love the GS, hate the internet (what kind of cultural diffusion is going on here anyway), but I love all you forum guys.
