anyone done the homework on this one yet? i really want to stick a fatter tire on the back so it doesn't look like i'm riding a bicycle. bandit 400 wheels are proving a bit difficult for me to find in the US. (spare me the logical reasons it's stupid, i know already and i don't care :nana: )
You can make most any wheel fit with changing bearings and spacers. I have posted several times other options. Do a search.
I am using a 4.5" rear wheel from a bandit 600 that I actually purchased from dgyver a while back. The swap consisted of using a couple of bearing spacers that were supplied by dgyver also. The spacers take up the room between the axle and the bearings which are a larger center diameter than the stock gs bearings. other than that I had to use a 16mm washer between the caliper mount and the axle spacer due to the caliper mount bolts slightly rubbing the brake disc. so far it's working great. Dgyver, where did you get the spacers from? did you make them? could you make more so others could use the bandit 600 wheel? also what year is the wheel I purchased from?
Thanks again by the way :thumb:

The wheel is a 92 B6. The spacers came with it. A member here made them. I think was Greg Gabis.
