Title: GSXR SHOCK ON A GS?
Post by: bikingreenie on September 01, 2005, 08:47:08 PM
I've read about putting a GSXR rear shock on a GS500. Is it a bolt on or does it require mods? Is it worth it?

needs a wee bit of grinding and is overkill for the street IMO (and I had one on mine). Katana shock is sufficient if the stocker is not enough for you.

is there anyway to tighten the rear shock at all?? with just the shock is fine but my 100 lbs wife gets on the back and i hate it, and so does she    she feels every patch in the road.

thats where the Katana shock upgrade will help too.
