:o That's so awesome.
From my beginner point of view, I don't know how I'd ever go from riding the way I do, to THAT.
I'll second that. Been riding full time for about 8 months now and I would love to be able to learn that kind of riding.
november 2002 was the first time I ever threw a leg over a motorcycle, and it was a gs500. You guys are on the right track. read up-Sport Riding Techniques by Nich Iensatch is a good start. Ride canyons. Ask questions of experienced good riders. do a track day or three. practice x3.
QuoteI would love to be able to learn that kind of riding.
trackday novice school. will teach you the fundamentals.

Pablo is one bad-ass MF!
Pablo is right, read up on proper technique, do a trackschool, do trackdays, kneedowns wont even be a question... and to those with the GS, make sure you hang off the seat enough to drag the knee, or else you'll get the pipe, and that makes for a wobbly turn if you can save it. On the left side if the suspension compresses too much you'll probably hit the stand, so its better to hang off a bit more to feel out your lean angle.
could not agree more. track days are awesome. i will be back on a track in the spring ater i recover from a recent crash on a track. i was going to mid-ohio but a crash changed that plan.
BTW tracks are the best place to crash a bike. no joke you have paramedics there within 1-2 minutes and run-off so you do not hit anything. i hi-sided at 110 and i am here to talk about it. BTW this pic is 1 session before my crash.

hang off more. back should be inline w/ the bike. looks like you're twisted or "crossed" up. helps keep the meat of the tire in the center and increase ground clearance.

TLR's are a Buddha Loves You to go around corners and spin up easy.
