Ok I know this has probable been asked before so dont be mean to me but, where can I find a windscreen for my 2004 gs500f I want a black one or like a smoked one any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

just do like i did and take it off and use the plastic spray paint and spray the inside it looks great and doesnt cost 80 dollars like some of the screens! any questions let me know

Can you see through your windscreen even though its painted or is it impossible to see through. I kinda wan a smoked look but no too dark. Also did you paint it from the outside or the inside.

no you cant see thru but i cant lay down far enough that it matters  it doesnt bother me at all . you paint the inside so the outside looks like its just really dark :)

Keep in mind that you MUST use the paint MADE to work on plastic; it is possible that the chemicals in any other paint will DESTROY the windscreen.

One brand you should be able to use safely is Krylon Fusion; I used it the same way last year, in order to darken the aftermarket windscreen on my 750 Ninja. You CAN'T use it on a faceshield, because it is NOT transparent, but I really like what it did to improve the looks of my old Ninja.
