Title: Would a bike be jetted different for AR than for PA?
Post by: scottpA_GS on September 07, 2005, 04:36:12 PM
I am still having minor fuel starvation issues @ higher speeds.

Could the Jets be diff in a bike sold in AR? So much so that I would need to change them for PA? The bike seems to run so much better when its cooler out? I also noticed that the starvation gets better when I put the choke on just a little ???

I have not messed w/ the air/fuel mix yet, but the dealer had when I had it looked over.. could that need set diferently?

Any help  :thumb:

Jason at MI told me that jetting for Texas would be no different than for Seattle.  I wouldn't think it'd be any different PA to AR.

Certainly, Suzuki doesn't jet bikes differently for different states.   :P

Colder = runs better = too rich, runs better with choke = too lean though that choke does vacuum based siphoning, and in effect at high rpm's it may do nothing ... never did my O2 sensor with choke on at high speeds ...      ... AR=PA yea, CA(lifornia)=CA(nada) IMHO.
Set air screws to 3 out and go from there ... all stock jetting ?? Then no way you're rich ... unless you have stuck float or somelike that. Check hoses into and out the air box for rips etc.
Cool.
