Title: JETTING-too big?-(runs rough at low rpms)
Post by: bikingreenie on September 07, 2005, 08:19:55 PM
With stock jets (122.5/37.5), I had severe stumble at 3500-4500RPMs.

ReJetted mains to 130 and pilots to 40.

Now, it's rough from 700-2500RPMs, then screams. Would too big (130) mains cause this?

BTW, I have a UNI-filter.

Stock bike (pipe and UNI etc is OK) ... 125 mains. Open air filters (K&N) and pipe = 150. You also need 1 #4 under needle and 3 turns on mix screws.
Cool.
Srinath.
