There are some teenage #$its in my neighborhood hasseling my 14 yr old son and his friends, we talked to there parents -- guess what "you must be wrong my kid wouldn't fo that". we also have new neighbors that have 5 kids between the ages of 2 and 13. both parents work nights and leave the kids home alone. the past few nights the kids have been outside screaming, yelling and throwing stuff between 11:00 and 12:00. last night I went and talked to the kids- told them to be quit and go home. they responded with "%$$% you we dont have to listen to you". I told wifey I was calling the police, she said no I'lll go talk to them. she knocked on the door and a baby sitter came out she said she was sorry and the kids would not do it again. thought it was done and over but NOOOOOOOOOO 7:00 tonight there mom comes to my house screaming and yelling but cause her delenquent kids told her I chased them with a GUN! WTF is wrong with people!!!!! I've had enough I want to move to montanna and live in the mountains with no neighbors.. Why is it so hard for people to relize there kids are not angels - also found out thes girls accused a guy down the street of rubbing their butt. (they had recently had an argument with the guys kids on the school buss) the guy is now afraid to come out of his house other then going to work. sorry this is so long Im aggravated and rambling. I used to live in a nice quit neighborhood but something has gone very wrong!!!!

And the reason most teenagers are "a$# h%##s" is because most of them are immature and uneducated idiots. That's been my experience with the majority of them in my lifetime, though. The reason you usually don't see the good ones is because they are either too busy doing homework, trolling message boards (present self included :P), or doing other various non-destructive things. You only see the bad apples because they make themselves visible.
I can empathize. We had some pretty awful neighbors move in next to us almost a year ago now. This neighborhood also used to be nice and quiet. No more. I've never heard children as loud as theirs, and they have about 200 family members. New people move in and out all the time (they were investigated as a drug house). The police now visit regularly.
I'm afraid your new neighbors probably don't understand anything but cops. I'd never in my life had to call the cops before these new neighbors moved in; unfortunately, it became all too familiar. They're a little more quiet now, but things just aren't the same.
Thank goodness we have a surveillance system. Thugs and lowlifes suck.
I blame it all on the internet and television. I think lots of land or big fences make good neighbors. Hope you can work something out...nothing worse than having A@#hole neighbors. Love the little twin, Montana (do they have a lot of cattle or is it a media conspiracy?), and this forum.

just got up this morning after a restless night sleep. The evil kids next door stayed in last night, but their parents decided to honk there car horn repeatedly at 2:00am then have an argument in their front yard. after that the husband sat in the car with the radio blasting for several hours. Thats one hell of an example for the kids to follow. maybe I should change the subject of this post to "most parents are @@# H@#$S".

Don't feel bad about calling the cops just do it. They are trained to deal with things like this. YOu have to have a liscence to drive a car/motorcycle, fly a plane, and own a dog but any moron can have kids. Seems a little backasswards to me.

2 of the punk kids that live on the other side of the street came by today, they drove slowley passed the house twice like they were casing it. I think theyll be back tonight, there parents dont give a damn what they do. I'm not sure where you live, but the officers we've spoken with in our area said that if they rent, we could call code enforcement and complain (since we don't know who owns the house...you're ahead in that dept). Every time you call the police, document it and get a case # if you can, especially if they come out to visit. If enough of those are documented, code enforcement (if your county/city has that) can possibly help...

Today we went to a dance recital for our oldest daughter. The recital included children from about 6 years old to about 30 (yeah, they're our children [babies] no matter hold old they get ;) ). There were a few teenaged boys behind us that I would cheerfully have shot if I'd had a gun with me. They were just being a$$holes for no good reason other than they obviously had low self esteem and the poor darlings needed attention. And now our charming neighbors have been blasting their polka....it isn't illegal to shoot people who blast their polka, is it? :dunno:

well, gotta hijack my thread back,- the 2 days of peace are over. policae have been called twice today. the little angels across the street were harassing the kids down the street (told they were gone shoot them with an ak47) for some reason. so the police were called. then the little angels mother called the police and told them our other neighbor was waving a gun at her (sound familiar). 4 squad cars and 6 police showed up with guns drawn, pulled my neighbor out of his truck (he's 58yrs old with medical problems) and cuffed him. they let him go once they got the entire story, but he is now in the hospital. when the pullled him out of the truck they dislocated his shoulder, then he had a bit of an anxiety attack and is being kept for observation. the police are pissed to put it lightly. they are pressing charges on the a$$h#(#$ neighbors. one of the punks on the other side of they neighborhood is out of jail and causing problems again. apparently its fun for him to give people yard jobs, well he was caught last night. maybe the end is in sight. maybe not :dunno: :dunno:

I started off with a 9mm, which was good for my hand, but the last time I went shooting, I shot with a glock, and my instructor tried to get me to start shooting in tournies. It's just a fun thang for me; I'm not really interested in competition. The glock is heavy in my hand, but once I got used to it, I did pretty well.
I went shooting with a cop friend once (it was the first time I'd ever been shooting), and I shot better than he did. :lol: It's a good thing he wasn't all ego, or I'd have been in trouble! :lol: :lol:

the punk bastards on the far side of the neighborhood went around hitting cars with bats and shooting houses with paint ball guns. when the police went to there house, mom said they were home all night. they didn't get my house luckly. my dogs did go nuts twice last night. Ive starte patrolling the yard 4 or 5 times a night with a 12 gauge, a 9mm , the wifey takes the mini 14 (.223 with a 30 round mag). they show up here someone is leaving in a body bag. Also my neighbor that was hurt is home, he has his arm in a sling a may require surgery. wonder if the police are gonna pay for it??

Im just outside cincinnati ohio. up untill 4 months ao it was a very quite neighborhood. One of the neighbors called the owner of the house were the "angels" live. they said if we all sign a petition and the get enough police reports they will evict them. atleast there is some hope.

ktrim, be carefull patrolling the yard. Patrolling the yard is brandishing in many localities, but I don't know a thing about Ohio. Keep the weapons inside and a camera outside. Don't want to see someone protecting themselves in jail, because of some morons.
We've had to set up a surveillance system. It's actually done some good. The neighbors don't trespass now that they know they're being filmed.
I'm not sure what the laws in Ohio are, but cops here have told me on the QT that if there's a shooting, drag the bastards inside. Sad commentary, isn't it.

I spoke to the police about the firearms ( i have many 12 gauge, mini14, 9mm, 38, 32 revolver, 32 derringer, and a 22 rifle, 2 compound bows) the exact words of the 2 police officer that were here was "we wish there were more people like you, then we wouldn't have these problems. the kids would stay at their own home" I don't knowthe exact laws, but have been told that as long as it is in plain site, and pointed up/safe direction. that it is legal. i.e. not making threating motions towards anyone. under the circumstances, I don't care. We have asked for increased patrolls by the police, children services won't do anything, kids parents are worthless, I am going to protect my family/property by any means necessary. I don't particularly want to shoot a teenager ( i may joke about it, but would prefer it never happen) but if it comes down to them or my family, they will leave in a body bag. (now I sound like a psycho).

but your best bet is to set up cams. and get them on film.
if they are that bad of neighbors though and you can get the rest of your neighbors in on it go upwind of the house and set up some tear gas so it drifts down into their place. then paintball them when they come out.

well on it goes, The principal at Joshua's (10 yr old) school called today. I was told that the "angel" across the street has reported that joshua was punching her and biting her while on the bus. I asked the principal to investigate further and filled her in on the problems. guess what??? after they talked to 15 kis and the bus driver, they discovered that nothing had happened. 2 kids reported being told by the "Angel" that she was going to get josh in trouble. When her mother was called in to school, her mother told the principal that I had chased her kids with a gun, and an, up till now, un involved neighbor had threated to cut her kids throats while they were sleeping. We contcted my attorney about filling a defemation of character type lawsuit and getting a restraining order to keep her brats away from my kids. should know something tomorrow

there is a large back hoe down the street right now (city getting ready to upgrade storm sewers due to flooding problems). wife and neighbors were discussing slipping the driver a couple bills to accidently knock the house down. don't know what the legal ramifactions are but its an idea

its been quite for about a week. the "angels" have been outside at 12:30am every night this week, but they are quite. The punks on the other side of the neigborhood are convinced that I will shoot them if the come near my house or kids. so everything is good for the time being. until they all get ballsey again. Ive actually got to sleep through the night for several nights. I'll just have to wait and see what happens.
