Title: Help - Anyone have a carb top cover and diaphragm
Post by: sctrader on September 09, 2005, 08:37:50 PM
So I was taking apart the GS, getting ready to reject the carbs to 125 mains and 40 pilots. As I was removing the top cover on the right side of the carbs, I noticed it was cracked around one of the screw openings. Then when I lifted the cover, the edge of the diaphragm was all torn up. It looks like someone didn't make sure it was seated properly before screwing the top cover back on and now it is mangled.

Does anyone have a top cover and diaphragm for the right side (if sitting on the motorcycle, the one on the right side) of the carburettor? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if I could buy it off you. Not sure if the carbs differ between the years, but I have 1998.

Thanks.
