Title: socket sizes?
Post by: WAP on September 12, 2005, 10:26:36 AM
I'm stopping by Sears after work to buy a socket or two. However I'm away from my bike and I need to know the correct sizes. The spark plugs need an 18 mm deep socket right? What about the rear axle nut (the one with the cotter pin)? 22, 23, 24 mm?  :dunno:

I just took my rear tire off on Saturday, I'm gonna take an educated guess that its a 22mm, but hopefully someone will be able to confirm.

18mm deep socket confirmed for the plugs, although you can use a regular 18mm wrench if you have one.
