Title: 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14
Post by: roguegeek on September 16, 2005, 08:56:31 AM
Yet another 2006 release today. Here's the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 (http://www.motorcycledaily.com/16september05_2006kawasaki_zx14.htm). Nothing on the official site yet, but I'm sure it will be there soon.

Way too big for my tastes. Should give the Hayabusa a run for it's money.[/img]

That looks awful! :(   What were they thinking with those fins on the tank?  The rear turn signals look goofy too.  The ZX-12 was so aggresive and sharp looking w/o being super angular, this looks like the result of siblings having intercourse.  Blech!   The only think that might be cool looking about the whole bike is the headlight, which you can't see in this pic.  I wish I had four hands so I could give that bike four thumbs down!

Two things could/do look good on the bike, headlight (?) and wheels.  The wheels look good.

It looks like a big featureless tourer.  Big featureless tourers seem to sell pretty well.

I really like it.  Only down point I would say is the exhaust.  Not much R&D there.

for a "plus-size" bike, i think it looks pretty good.

I like the smooth tail and the integrated front and rear turn signals. Headlights are pretty nice too. Could do without the ribs on the side of the tank. They should have just covered it with more fairing. Hate the exhaust. I'm sure it's helps that monster breath, but I don't like the look of dual exhausts. I hate undertail exhausts, but I think one would have looked good on this bike. The wheels are just plain sweet.
