Title: New Corbin seat - - No mounting bracket?
Post by: Toledo Jim on September 17, 2005, 05:47:59 AM
Got a new Corbin seat yesterday, opened box this morning and have to use mounting bracket from old seat. :? Would think for the price it would come with it! :x
Anyway, anyone have a spare seat mounting bracket I could get from you?

Hi,
I had the same issue with my Corbin seat last year. I ended up having to buy a spare junker seat with a bad cover on it on eBay for $15. Keep watching there. I intend to have the junker seat recovered by Sargent seat company to compare them at some point. The Corbin isn't perfect, but it is far better than stock.
Good luck!
Todd

I see Corbin is still too lazy to make a 2001+ seat.

they need a sample seat to do it. I may bring up my seat and drop it off at some point so they can build a sample seat. BUt i dont ride enough to justify a new model seat.

nsp, you need a seat bracket? My old seat off the '92 is a junker, but the bracket should still be good. Let me know.
