My cats woke me up at the crack of dawn chasing a gecko so I decided to go for a ride before the mercury hit 100.
All the discussion of failures of the flood walls in New Orleans made me want to check out my local Corps of Engineers water control project.

Swung by a local park called Blue Hole where the youngsters do some cliff jumping.

Then hit one of the more famous rides in Texas, Lime Creek Road. Scrubbed off the chicken strips from all the commuting. Had a pucker moment when I was rounding a 15mph curve to find sand in the road :o washed in from recent storms I guess. I slid from the inside groove to the outside before catching traction again.

You have not taken your GS on gravel or dirt roads?
Every time I take my GS to work it goes on gravel and dirt. Wait until you take it up a gravel hill with wash outswash (board bumps) on it. :o
