Title: GS in my parking Garage...
Post by: RVertigo on September 19, 2005, 09:36:54 AM
So...  I was installing my new grips (http://www.chaparral-racing.com/Chaparral/product_family.asp?family%5Fid=1204&gift=False&0=dept%2Easp%2Cdept%5Fid%3D420%26menu%5Fid%3D%26Tree%3D%2CStreet%20Grips&1=dept%2Easp%2Cdept%5Fid%3D222%26menu%5Fid%3D%26Tree%3D0%2CPro%20Grip%20Street%20Grips) over the weekend.  I decided to putt around the parking garage after I installed them, when I noticed a motorcycle under a sheet.  I'd seen it there before but never noticed the wheels...  Just like mine, but white.  I thought, "That MUST be a 90's GS500."  So I checked it out.

Sure enough, white/blue GS500... Looks like an early one.  So without poking around too much I pulled up the sheet a little more.  It looks like it's not in the greatest shape but something interesting struck me.  No license plate...  That got me thinking.

I bet an old tenant abandoned the poor little GS in the garage.  I wonder if it would be worth seeing if it really was abandoned and trying to get a title... :dunno:

You think so?  I mean...  I don't have anywhere to work on it...  Nor do I have the ability or the money.

Maybe I could sell it to one of my friends.  Hmm....

Ooh, yes!

I'll finish with mine, sell it to Aaron, and then fix up that one!

OK...  I should see what's up with it.  At least someone could fix it.

I know I can't fix it, but it's such a shame to see it rotting away there...  :(
