There are threads for you, your bike, where, what's how's and who's, but what about your sig image or avatar? What does it mean to you? I see Pandy changed hers to a little kitty, etc. I just am curious to know what they all are (the non obvious ones anyway) and what they mean to you?
pandy is one of those girls that likes to show off her kitty.
My avatar was given to me by John, the Founding Father, as are all others I believe.
I turned him on to proper BBQ, and he was moved. He rewarded me and for that I am thankful.
My signature is a line taken from a song I like about poker. I chose that because I enjoy playing cards and play a couple times per week. The song is called "Crazy Game of Poker".
mine is a s-l-o-w progression of my trackdays, someday there will be a knee being dragged
off topic - was out getting cigars (thought of you) and saw this reflection, so i took a pic...

Mine is my favorite movie character, Leonard Smalls from Raising Arizona
He introduces himself to a client and says
"The name is Smalls... Leonard Smalls
My friends call me Lenny, but I don't have any friends.
Warning sign... It's funny, that's all.
Mine is just some guy that I saw riding his GS who looked really cool.
Dave
My avatar is Red Robot #C-63 from the internet webcomic Diesel Sweeties (http://www.dieselsweeties.com). He is the sworn enemy of hu-mans. His fling with Eve (The silver-tongued, bipolar Marxist Ashkenazi with an erotic yen for boys, girls and robots) led him to be the world's first hypocritical robot. He's originally from Exploding Dog (http://www.explodingdog.com). He also dated Maura, the alcoholic porn star, as well as her Lil' Sis.
I'll change my avatar eventually... this one is just so recognizable though.

+1 :thumb: I went by Indie Rock Pete when I was on college radio. And I have way more "I'm a rocker. I rock out." paraphernalia than anyone needs. Also, don't forget that the Red Robot is originally from

My avatar is just me. Wearing my awesome (before they died) goodwill headphones.

Oh yeah. Diesel Sweeties is quite entertaining. Same with
Sluggy Freelance and
Boy on a Stick and Slither.

Aww man, thanks! I love candy!
You ass.
I was circulating through some characters from Black Adder with concise quotes overlaid. I was asked to stop that, so I switched to Lennon. A crop from a poster.

ginoe what a great pic! I saw the pic before I read the post - I'm flattered :) That's so cool!
Since I asked yall, mine is me on little old Zuke within the first four hours she was born :) I had just done laid the perfect little rubber patch in a nice little straight 6 ft line! I had no idea what I was doing but I was happy - REALLY I was!!! :)
I'm sitting in my kayak on the river bank (that brown stuff is water after a storm) Probably the place i am at peace the most...
Haven't we done this before? :dunno:
Anyway... It's the ID plate off an EMD GP9 road switcher. It's the Diesel locomotive equivalent of the GS. It's the not too small, not to big, sorta unrefined, underpowered to some, and underloved by nearly all General Purpose traction.

My pic is of me. My mom wanted a pic to put on her desktop comp at her work, so I struck a pose for her. With my loptoff lugs on. These things are great! It makes my ride so much more enjoyable. Seeing all the kids and adults smiling and waving.
I was comming back from school the other day and I turned to see the car next to me to see a camera phone pointed at me with 3 other guys hanging out the window to see and laugh and give me thumbs up. It was cool. I gave them a :thumb: back for their pic. Only 7 bucks at cyclegear.

Crikey, are those bite marks?
Mine is from last Spring Break. I drank the beer, and I'm sleeping...
I'm in Bergen, Norway, where I was visiting some friends. I actually wasn't drunk and passed out, I was just passed out. My friends thought it would be a funny pic. I agree. :P
<----- I was out in newport beach with some friends, it was some holiday (not st. patty's but some other holiday). I'm in the process of pointing at the camera and yelling "Yeah!!!" whe the photo was taken.
Very, very good night from what I recall.
My sig is a recognition of my lack of experience. I figure I might as well call myself a noob and save davidpu the hassle.
=)
:lol: I like your title, Aaron. I recall that thread, too.
mine is the feared mine sniffing war dolphin. Don't know what a war dolphin is, just google the words war dolphin for a link to articles on them. I cropped the Navy dude out of the pic.
The concept of a war dolphin is just really amusing to me. Just saying the words makes me laugh.
My sig is my now 4.5 year old son's philosophy on god. Much better I must add than what most other 2000 year old religions are able to come up with.

Mine is one of my favorite places to be: behind the bars of my bike :)
If ya don't know this is Janis. What can I say I love hippie music!! But that is probably because I am a stupid freakin liberal??

zukiGS500 - where in Wiscony are you at?
Mine is a backpatch I made for my pretend biker gang :thumb: Anyone wanna join ?
Monkeys are cool... heh.. eee.. heh heh..
<--avatar is my first trackday, willow springs big track. Nov, 04.
sig pics below are my most recent, Buttonwillow. August 29, 05.
where I love to be.
mine is the cactuar from FFVII, with a "no" symbol over it. the image from another squaresoft game "the bouncer"
it's on the back of one of the main guys jackets.
the cactuar is fast, and usually escapes from battle (in FFVII).
so in the bouncer, he has it's image (it's not in the game, just a reference thing) with the "no" symbol to mean, no escape.
I like the capture of somthing elusive type of idea behind it.
and the control over a situation that it implies by stating that escape is impossible.

Yep, and you cant really see it, but she drew blood

Im in Milwaukee right now, but I'm back home in Manitowoc about every other weekend. Why, you lookin to ride?
did not see this thread earlier.
just some pic that a friend of mine sent me. it says much about my overall being. grown up but a still a small kid inside type of thing. also how i view my bikes. lots of fun, yet really serious. they are my favorite toys. you have to watch out though.. if you let me have one.. i will want the other ones in the playground as well and if you try and stop me i will trade my lunch money to ride the other ones or do whatever it takes to have what i want.
8)
That is birdie...he is having adrink at my favorite watering hole. Birdie goes everywhere I go. He lives in my dufflebag during the week, my tank bag on the weekends. Everyone should have a riding buddy.
These are two pistons from my old two strokes.
it is a violent death:
A too hot spark plug made a nice hole in one of them.
The other one had a crack, and ended broken in bits.
That poor old two strokes is successfully rebuilt and running!
I love it.
zukiGS500 - Manitowoc's pretty darn close.
Get yer butt up here and we'll race! HAHAHAH
my avatar won't display :(
its a naked dude with his head up his own ass..

So that's not you? I was thinking it was Ghost Rider. I've seen him do strange shaZam! like ride a snowmobile in the street and ride a pocket rocket. Do you know if that's him?
Dave
mine is from one of the funniest movies ever...
OLD SCHOOL
"You're crazy man...I like you, but you're CCrrraaazzzyyyy...."

Sig = duh;
I love 80's music and videos, they are just crazy. Next on the list "SAFETY Dance".
I was all set to go when my wife offered the Cell in case of trouble. I suggest an identifying picture would go well in case of catastrophe.
I posed for this, then when handing the camera back I was reminded that if I didn't return in one piece, she would see to it that I'd never ride again. (She tolerates this pleasure of mine.)
I remember this every time I (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v11/redshift/Ride.gif) so I pay attention and bring it home in the same condition I left.
Dave:
No Idea. I have some pics of me riding my pocketbikes about in full gear. I also have a couple pics of me racing at willow in a pack of about 30 pocketbikes. They are pretty funny.
I had a Captain Harlock's Skull & Cross Bones before.
But I switched it today to my Gs500 with Givi Windscreen
Riding Latigo Canyon in Malibu on a purple GS.

Sort of morbid, but...I worked with someone a while back who was in a terrible car accident and needed reconstructive surgery before she regained consciousness...when she woke up, she was told that they had used her driver's license photo as the baseline for the reconstruction. When she tells the story, she talks about how pissed off she was that she didn't at least get to pick out a new nose. Now she carries a touched-up glamor shot of what she -wants- to look like in her wallet, just in case.
Now that I have one, I can tell you what it is. This is a picture of the Chicayne- it is a car build by Rad Rides by Troy. It is one of the beastliest cars every built
