Title: foolish (and costly)
Post by: ginoe on September 21, 2005, 08:07:24 AM
no one to blame but myself - bike loaded in the pickup, heading out for the track & running a bit late. no problem i can make up for lost time, got me for 85mph in a 65mph...

...time IS money (as they say) - 40mins cost me $200  :x

If you pay that ticket and take the points, you are a fool.

Get a lawyer.  He'll get it amended to no points defective equipment for $300 total and you're insurance won't go up.

My $.02.

I'm using them for my current ticket. I figure why not. It's only costing me 25 bucks to fight it. I'm currently pleading not guilty, but I have learned a lot in his materials.  :dunno:

That's in Cali...his ticket is in the land of give me your money or we will take your house. New Jersey. Gineo get a lawyer..it's 5 points on your license also. At best you will pay the fine the lawyer fees and court costs. Better then the added siurcharges and increased prememines. ( spelling bites) I am doing the same thing here in Atlantic county...I feel your pain.

Just think 5 more mph and it would have been wreckless driving, and posibly a trip to jail, impounded car and bike.

Be safe, speed does kill. Esp. with a loaded up truck.
