......then it is obviously a redhead ;)

I genuinely feel for the people of coastal TX and LA. It's been one hell of a season already, and this isn't going to help matters much.

Who wants to point the finger at global warming for causing these rascal storms?  :guns:

Does anyone else find it slightly amusing that all the people from Louisiana came to Houston after a hurricaine, only to have another hurricaine go to them there? It's like adding insult to injury.

Maybe I'm just heartless. Good thing it's heading towards Beaumont now...

Yup ... lets see what other coastal, diaster prone, low lying area millions upon millions of us can go and over populate ...
Global warming may have somehting to do with these ... however, I'd not say we are above normal ... historically 20+ hurricanes isn't out of the ordinary for a season ... but is it my imagination or are girl hurricanes much worse than boy hurricanes ... speaking of which what happened to Hurricane Pandy ...
Cool.
Srinath.

They really need to find out who these things are chasing and send them to an unpopulated island.

Ever heard of the Long Island Express?  Just a little cat 3 hurricane that hit NYC and did a little bit of damage, killed 700 and left 63,000 homeless.  Every city on the east coast is capible of being hit, not just the gulf...  You seem to have it in for these southern towns, things just as bad have happened in new england...

I've been on the LIE a couple times.  :o FWIW, driving in Long Island sucks.

For anyone interested, typing in "Weather Modification" to Google and researching it might turn up some interesting results.  ;)

actually 20 is pretty high.  they only have names for 21 storms.  and they've only run out once or twice before since they started naming them.

Yeah, you don't notice how phallic it is until someone points it out to you and it well... $%^&@ slaps you in the face.
