Last weekend was Delmarva Bike Week with an estimated 50,000 bikers in Ocean City, MD. Neat event, nice bikes, but what a hassle!
I was riding home from work on practically the only twisty road in the area and I got stuck behind six cruisers DOING THE SPEED LIMIT. To make matters worse, they slowed down to 35 mph in a 50 mph zone around the turns! Now I am no racer, but I do like to take the turns faster than my minivan. I think some of these guys only take their bikes out a couple times a year. Oh yeah, and they think it's impressive to rev their engines while stopped at a light. Whoop D Doo :dunno:
On a positive note, the Discovery Channel sponsored show had Exile, Eddie Trotter and Matt Hoch to name a few from Biker Buildoff. I am not a huge fan of the flashy nauseating paint jobs and chrome, but it was cool to see the top builders, especially the ultra clean bikes at Exile.

I love Exile bikes!

It's funny that Matt Hotch makes kickstands but he never uses them on his bikes

You are right, they don't spend much more time than once or twice a year riding. The rest of the time is spent polishing chrome and posing for pictures. Whatever turns you on i guess.
